About Jess

Growing up I never imagined wedding and portrait photography would be my career path.  After a couple years of soul searching through college, I fulfilled a degree in Visual Arts and began my professional career as a photographer.  I worked hard, crafted my skill and since 2009 have successfully grown my own business. Whether behind the camera or in front of the computer, I am excited about my work and blessed every day I get to wake up loving what I do for a living.

In 2014, my husband and I tied the knot and the following year gave birth to a beautiful little boy.  I now have two crazy kids (a 6 year old and almost 4 year old little girl) and our family is now complete.  The importance of capturing these memories is more profound than ever and I take such pride in delivering work you will cherish. 

My style is a blend of modern and traditional photography. I am an absolute fan of the classic look and prefer to deliver things with minimal post-processing. I strive for timeless images using natural light and do my best during an event to be as discrete as possible. I aim to give direction only when needed and like to capture raw emotion rather than posed images.
